Burgatory is a brand system created for a new Toronto restaurant. Originally cooking on the road and catering events via their food truck, Burgatory came into it's own in a restaurant location in the west end.
The visual identity was created to reflect the themes of purgatory, directed at modern, gourmet burger eater and the savvy late night foodie crowd, alluding to the post-drinks snack search.
The branding playfully uses the symbolism and themes of the seven sins. Leveraging imagery from each "sin" to create an extensive logo identity with supporting illustration for each of the five burgers on the menu and pattern.
